Here are some of my favorite gingerbread craft ideas for storytime from around the web!
This half-eaten gingerbread man pattern by Elsie Marley (found via Pinterest) is awesome! For a storytime group, I would probably skip the stuffing and stitching, or even use paper instead of felt.
Blissfully Domestic’s gingerbread garland can be made with brown paper grocery bags or craft paper. You could trace a cookie cutter if you’re not so skilled at freehand drawing (which I am most decidedly not!)
Preschoolers in particular really love making these life-size gingerbread kids from Family Corner.
Stay tuned for our Gingerbread Cowboy craft inspired by Janet Squires’ The Gingerbread Cowboy later this week!
